We pick up the story with Rachael and Chase seeing each other again and having a great evening out. They partake in an once in a lifetime singing adventure. Then like anything in life what goes up must come down, until next time.
A Song for Two is well-written and enjoyable. I found myself annoyed with Rachael for most of it. I did enjoy meeting her friends and seeing the dynamic they have. I was especially happy to see Rachael with Chase again. Here's to hoping she sticks with her decision. Next book here I come.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review her boyfriend is going on a work event out of town n some girl calls looking for him. Her n her friends go out n she sees him again he wins her friends over n they disappear leaving the two of them he takes to a theatre n they have awesome sex Again he has to go to Tokyo for his job and the cliffhanger ugh
Rachel has allowed herself to fall back into old bad habits because of her insecurities. However, she finally meets up with her dream man, Chase, and starts to get her courage up to make positive changes in her life when he helps her make another one of her dreams come true. She comes up against a large obstacle which will have a lot of repercussions and we will just have to wait to find out how she handles it.
I received an advanced review copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. Loved this book by Nikki Steele, a wonderful author. Have enjoyed all her books. This book especially cause includes song lyrics and links to hear the music also. Rachael's boyfriend is going away to Vegas for the weekend along with his assistant on supposed business. Rachael's friends at work talk her into going out Friday night after Dan is gone to have drinks and fun. Rachael hasn't seen Chase in a couple weeks so she gets them to go to the bar where she met him, hoping he will be there. Chase does show up there and admits he has been coming every night for the last two weeks hoping to see her again. She is still with Dan, but can't refuse Chase when he wants to take her home with him. Why not since she just knows he is sleeping with his assistant. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Once again Rachel is living a life of misery with an overbearing and downright nasty Dan. This picks up two weeks after book one ends and you can't help but feel for Rachel. She is stuck. Feels like she won't get anyone better, a thought continuously reinforced by Dan and so she feels it's better to be with someone than be with no-one.
While Dan is away on a 'business' trip, Rachel goes out with her friends who try their best to get her to leave Dan but once again Rachel's lack of self worth kicks in. It just so happens Chase arrives at the bar and Rachel again experiences a night of love and dreams coming true that she comes to a big decision she is all set to put into play. The best quote for me in this part was when Rachel realizes, 'With him was the first time ever that I'd truly felt beautiful' (SWOON!) But, in typical Nikki Steele style she leaves us with a cliff-hanger ending readers are bound to be screaming at her to fix! This is certainly not something that Rachel can ignore!
At this point in time all I can say is......no!!!!!!!
I assure you, keep reading. The sex is hot. The story is full of twists that need to be resolved and I can only hope book 3 starts to calm my nerves and we finally see Rachel find her sexy and her backbone!

Two weeks after Rachel amazing night with Chase she was still with Dan.
It was Friday and Dan was going to away for the week end for work.
Rachel decided to go to the same bar she went to two weeks before with
her friends from work. While she was there she was hoping to meet Chase
again. Rachel was at the table talking to her best friend Janice when Janice
told her that there was this really hot guy looking at her send Rachel asked
Janice to describe him to her. Rachel was hopping like hell it was Chase.
Well it was he came over to the table and bought Rachel and her friends
a drink and then Rachel friends decided to leave them alone.
Rachel felt guilty because she was still with Dan.
Chase asked Rachel why she did not get in contact with him.
She told him some of the reasons why but not all of it.
Chase asked her to go to the theatre with him and she said she
would love to some day but Chase said now.
When they got to the theatre he let them in and he took her to the stage.
He asked here if she would like to sing on stage.
Rachel said she would love to so Chase went and sets up some lights
and the sound system for her. He asked her if she needed music to sing
and she said no she would sing acapella .
Well you can guess what happens from their.
On the Monday morning she decided she was going to brake up with Dan
that night. Rachel started to feel sick and she thought it was just because she was nervous
about breaking up with Dan until she remembered she felt sick a few days beforehand.
She went a got a pregnancy test and she found out she was pregnant she worked out
it would be Dan's.
That is how this part of the series finishes.
Looking forward to the next part of this series.
